We unfortunately picked another landscaping company for a pool pad since they were less busy and could complete it faster. (Mason’s did have the better price though!) Spoiler alert, the other company did not complete it quickly and the project became a mess.

I reached out to Rich for some advice and he was very gracious with his time and was not overtly critical of the competition when he could have been. Felt like very fair feedback. Will certainly use Masons for our next project no matter the timeline.“

“A year ago I worked with SavATree to have a new tree planted in my front yard, and I want to share how pleased I’ve been with their service overall. The team was professional, courteous, and efficient from start to finish. They handled the planting with care, cleaned up beautifully, and made the entire process easy.

I do want to mention one concern: the tree that was planted is not the Redbud I originally envisioned when I requested that specific variety for my front yard. While the tree is healthy and well‑planted, it isn’t what I expected. That said, SavATree’s quality of work and customer service have been excellent, and I’m hopeful we can resolve the mix‑up and find a solution. “Cedar Run Landscapes did an absolutely beautiful job on our patio and walkway. We worked with Forrest for several months as part of a larger house and yard renovation. When we first began dreaming of the possibilities, Forrest came through with a competitive bid and a design that we felt captured what we told him we were looking for.

Like many renovation projects, not everything went according to plan, but Forrest was flexible and creative as the project evolved and he consistently offered us ideas and options to help bring our vision to reality. He was communicative about materials, scheduling, pricing, and gave his honest opinion about what may or may not work aesthetically and/or functionally as we moved through the stages of the project.

As part of the renovation plan, we installed a new deck off the back of the house. A paver patio was to be on one side of the deck and a paver walkway on the other. Forrest worked with the decking contractor to insure the walkways and patio were uniform, level and aligned with the deck. He also recommended Water & Stone to install a pergola on the patio and he worked closely with their team to make sure the install was smooth and the project's progress continued in a timely manner. His communication with us and the other contractors was top-notch and that is not always the case with contractors.

This spring our project was finished off with yard leveling and landscaping that made everything finally look and feel finished. We wanted low maintenance so Forrest gave us several kinds of perennials and made sure all of the plants and bushes were dog friendly, which was an important factor for us.

We dreamed of an outdoor space that was thoughtfully planned, purposeful in its layout, and enjoyable for years to come. We love what we created with Forrest and thanks to his knowledge, hard work, and professionalism, our back yard turned out better than we could have imagined!

Needless to say Forrest and Cedar Run Landscapes have our highest recommendation!
