Worst HOA in the county!!!! Takes forever to clear out the snow. Landscaping is sad & careless. They cut down trees for No reason! They trimmed branches from my tree & took my wind chimes with them. They removed my bushes to lay new concrete for the patios. Took months to get 1 of my bushes back. And, it's basically dead. Never got the other shrub back!!! The crew has broken my solar lights repeatedly!! I've complained but, management doesn't care!!! My gutters were clogged for years. I complained repeatedly & finally someone did something. But, the problems still not fixed. They increase fees almonds yearly & we get nothing in return. People take up 6+ parking spots & they do nothing. I've had so many problems and issues here that have gone ignored. It wasn't a bad place 20 years ago. But, management companies changed & the people that took over don't seem to care. And, the VS manager himself is a price of work!! I haven't met 1 person who likes him. He comes off very rude, brash & unapologetic. It certainly wasn't my intention to be here more than 5-10 years tops. But, thanks to a cheating, thriving, embezzling ex husband, I'm stuck here for god knows how long. I cannot wait to get out of here & into a much better development. Before you think of buying or renting in any part of Village Shires, I strongly suggest you go around and talk to the residents. Get a first hand, honest opinion before you get stuck in here!
