I used to study at this school when I lived in Pittsburgh..I was married to a Steeler at the time and this was my MAJOR outlet!! I enjoyed coming to class and when I moved to NYC, I could NEVER find a school even CLOSE to comparison!! I miss YOU Master Kong!! :)

I'm a veteran mixed martial artist from Buffalo, NY. I spent a few months in PA. Running errands one day I noticed the Young Brothers dojo next door, I had to sneak a peak. Upon entry I was greeted by young and very respectful students pointing me in the right direction, which happend to be on the mats looking at Master John Dunworth in the middle of class. I sat through so I could have a few words with him. To make a long story short I was instantly accepted and felt right at home. The respect & help I received from the students was heart warming. I came with a "full cup" and instantly learned that i was in deep water as a rookie again. Thanks to the students and master Dunworth helping me with my technique and stance helping me land a solid foundation to learn with. I thought I knew it all & instantly learned i was completely wrong. Master Dunworth opened his doors to me a complete stranger at the time and gave me alot of his attention as he finds a perfect balance for everyone to get that 1 on 1 time during a big class. I truly appreciate the experience all together. This was about 3 years ago and since then i have been able to use the techniques that I have learned at Young Brothers TKD inside of the cage. My flexibility increased, my combinations had a few more weapons in its arsenal than I have ever had. One certain kick was an advance windmill type that master Dunworth knew I could relatively learn in a short amount of time. Since then (3 years ago) not a day has gone by where I have thrown that technique less than 30 times. This kick alone has led to some pretty nice footage & highlights in my career as a fighter. A simple thanks does no justice for the way that the students of YoungBrothers TKD & Master John Dunworth took the time to help me learn their ways. Extremely reasonable price for the perfect techniques that you or your children will be learning. This is not just a sport, hobby, or outlet for anger. This is a lifestyle Choice. This is a way of life inside & outside of the dojo. You will see results. YoungBrothers is not just breeding warriors. They're making respectful & intelligent young men & women who strive for greatness. I am forever thankful to have had the pleasure of meeting and working with everyone involved.
