“My husband had an infection that caused a sudden decline . He was treated by Dr. Scott Magley and admitted / cared for by Dr. Matt Dvorchak . He was in the hospital a week , ultimately had a surgery . My husband notes as he was recovering .. how compassionate , caring and attentive the staff was . He had a team from the beginning . The emergency room nurses, lab techs , Xray staff .. dietary .. housekeeping .. physical therapy .. the operating room team and the nurses taking care of him for the period of his stay . I was asked on multiple occasions why I wanted him to stay there . Why ? We both wanted him to stay there . There is a lot to be said for our rural hospital . He has been admitted to large area hospitals , Pittsburgh and Cleveland Clinic . He says Miners and Cleveland Clinic have the cleanest hospitals and operating rooms . We were grateful to keep him close to home . Everything he needed for his testing , medications and aftercare were all in one place . He was very pleased with the duration of his stay . A special thank you to Dr. Dvorchak who was so caring, encouraging and worked through his difficult case/admission .“
