From the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcomed. The friendly assistant greeted me right away, and the entire office has such a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It even smells amazing — everything about the space immediately put me at ease.
Laura, the acupuncturist and owner, was incredibly thorough from the very start. She took the time to really listen during my intake, understand my needs, and talk through what I was hoping to achieve. Laura actually listens to you to get to the bottom of whatever it is you're dealing with. I've been to other practitioners before who are in la la land and seem to throw the same kitchen sink treatment at everybody. Not her - she takes all of your symptoms into account, comes up with one overarching diagnosis, and treats that.. I can tell she is a very good practitioner. They do not just do acupuncture but prescribe herbal formulas as well. Price is very reasonable too.
This was my first therapy appointment. I was very pleased with the office and the staff. I do feel as if the treatment was helpful. Some of my pain is gone. I do feel more relaxed and I am returning next week. Definitely worth a try. Linda
