Harleysville Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy is a welcoming business with great coaches and a supportive community. The instructors are praised for their patience, safety emphasis, and technique-improving skills. The atmosphere is described as fun and diverse, with new techniques regularly taught in classes. Both children and adults can improve their skills in a friendly and open-armed environment. Many visitors find that the gym is not just about physical fitness but also offers a sense of therapy and life-changing experiences. This is the cleanest, most organized and most welcoming gym I’ve trained Muay Thai at. The coaches are highly skilled both in Muay Thai and in their ability to teach. The people that come to train here are willing to help you out, and everyone is invested in each other’s progress. Even as a beginner to Muay Thai, I have had an incredibly positive experience here where I feel respected and taken seriously as a student. My son is also in their children’s Muay Thai program, which is both a fun and skill based class with excellent coaching tailored to how children learn. Thank you Harleysville BJJ!
Highly recommend Harleysville BJJ 10/10! My son loves all the Coaches and has made a lot of friends. The patience and the one-on-ones the coaches have with the kids is what makes Harleysville BJJ really stand out. They take the time to teach the kids, yet still have fun. I was hesitant at first to sign my son up for the Fundamentals Kids Jiu Jitsu since he’s on the younger side than most of the kids but then David encouraged us to let him try a few classes. Fast forward to two months later, and we’ve seen the progress my son has made and the confidence its given him. Truly appreciate David and everyone at the BJJ for welcoming us!
All the instructors are great! Going into my first class, I was welcomed with open arms. The sense of community here is really great. I have learned so many new techniques and can always count on a great class to learn more and hone in on my skills. I’ve made new friends since joining this school. I couldn’t recommend harleysville Jiu Jitsu more!
