I am so impressed with Studio RAW and Paige especially! As a gender non-conforming human, haircuts can sometimes feel incredibly daunting and dysphoric. After looking for a salon all over Pittsburgh, I heard that this place was great for anyone under the LGBTQ+ umbrella. I am SO glad I took the plunge. Upon walking in, I immediately felt at ease. This salon is GORGEOUS. Very clean, inviting, and full of fantastic amenities that range from beautiful minimalist stations to a kitchen full of food, drinks, and even beer and wine for those waiting. I followed my stylist, Kimberly Hughes, to this salon. First off, Kim is amazing. When she does my hair (blond highlights and a cut) strangers comment on how great my hair look and ask where I went and who did it. As far as the salon itself, it's very inviting. The front desk staff are very friendly, I've never had a problem making an appointment and there are tons of goodies for a client to enjoy. They have wine, beer, cookies, a popcorn machine, multiple kinds of soda, you name it. Very happy with my color and cut. Kim Hughes is a master at finding the perfect shading/highlights for me. My cut is flattering and easy to style. Kim listens to what I envision and works to make it happen. I have had many, many compliments regarding my hair since seeing Kim at Studio Raw.
