“Was on the hunt for a new stylist when mine after 10yrs decided to do as I did and stay home and raise her kiddos. Tried several different salons before finding Joelle's a couple months ago. First visit I was greeted by Joelle herself who has a wonderful smile and warm disposition. She offered me coffee or tea while I waited and then went on to apologize about her front door which she was mortified over because it was broken and temporarily replaced by a piece of wood. This spoke volumes about her as the proprietor, she genuinely cares about her shop and all the people within her salon. I have been to countless salons across the country ranging from $350 haircuts to $40 haircuts and more than most the owner doesn't even glance at the clientele unless they know you're a regular who spends a fortune every time you walk through the door.I have thick, naturally curly hair which is chemically treated. Majority of stylist want to thin it out making my hair wonky and unmanageable, worst thing a stylist can do with hair like mine is THIN it out!! Many try though because it is an easy solution for them, me not so much! The ladies at Joelle's get this and appreciate all hair is NOT the same, thanks ladies;).Part of me wants to keep the name of my lovely stylist to myself so she doesn't get too over-booked, and I can always get in to see her, but it just isn't in my nature to be stingy, drat! Sherieise you beautiful lady you better remember me when you become famous;) Sheriese(really hope I spelled your name correctly) is AMAZING and a total sweetie. She did NOT thin out my very thick, naturally curly hair but gave me the layers I needed and then did a FANTASTIC job on blonding me up with a ton of beautiful highlights for the summer. I never considered this treatment for myself, but once I booked a consultation and discussed my hair goals and complaints— she knew just what I needed. I also got my hair colored. It is so nicely blended and such a beautiful tone. Again- she looked at me and knew exactly what would flatter me the most. I am a customer for life. The salon is gorgeous and comfortable.
