“If you are getting married in the Poconos, I HIGHLY recommend Utopia for your hair and makeup! Cyndi on makeup and Chelsea on hair both CRUSHED and made me look and feel gorgeous on my day!!

As a bride, I wanted to look glam but also like me; Cyndi nailed this and did the PERFECT bridal makeup look! I looked glowy and rosy, yet you couldn’t see a thick layer of foundation or powder. The airbrush makeup that Cyndi uses insures you get a custom foundation shade match that looks natural yet wears all night (and I’m an oily girl!). She also advised me on individual false lashes (versus strip lashes) so that my eyes popped in photos, but I didn’t look like I had post-its stuck to my eyes. I felt (and looked) like a Disney princess with my whispy lashes! I also appreciated that from my trial, Cyndi adapted my trial feedback (adding a bit more liner and eyeshadow sparkle) and made me feel super comfortable about my look that day!

And in terms of hair, Chelsea had her work cut out for her because not only do I have frizzy waves that refuse a curl, but I also got married when it was pouring rain. Chelsea’s half-up style lasted well into the evening, and even when the curls started to fall, she used enough texturizing powder that my hair kept its general shape all night long (with little frizz!). Additionally, I had a cathedral-length veil and Chelsea gave awesome instructions for how to insert and remove the veil, insuring my style stayed as untouched as possible.

Both Cyndi and Chelsea were easy with set-up, and both were chill and reassuring while wedding day nerves were afloat that morning. I could not recommend these Utopia ladies enough, as they provided a variety of gorgeous looks for both me and my bridal party! Thanks Cyndi and Chelsea for making this bride feel beautiful inside and out, and also for making the morning FUN while getting ready too!“
