About a year ago, our Frenchie had lost the use of his hind legs, but was able to regain mobility with the help of our local emergency animal hospital. We decided schedule an appt. to meet with Dr. Brewer at Pinnacle Veterinary Specialists for additional information about IVDD and become clients there. Derek just had another episode about two weeks ago and it was much worse this time. I was able to contact Pinnacle on the weekend when our local emergency hospital was filled to capacity and Dr. Brewer was able to see me the very next day.The front desk agents, along with Amy (nurse) and Dr. Brewer were great and were able to do the MRI and surgery needed all on the same...read full review

My dog came in for an ultrasound and treatment in which they determined he had renal disease. Unfortunately despite Pinnacle's best efforts to bring his kidney levels down, the disease was too far advanced in which couple days later after my dog returned home from Pinnacle, I had to put him down at my primary vet as the disease rapidly progressed. I want to thank my dog's care team especially Drs. Bracken and Andersen for doing everything in their power to try to get this disease under control. The communication was right on target with the doctors, nurses and the rest of the staff at the hospital. Also the staff very transparent about the cost for his care each day....read full review
