“I am not very good at making ahead appointments for haircuts and I called this morning and they were able to schedule us within the hour for my toddler son. We saw David who was absolutely wonderful with my son. He was incredibly patient and empathic that my child was scared of getting his hair cut. He showed him how soft the scissors and razors were first before using them on his head. He gave him a comb to hold and a holder for my phone to play videos. He reminded me while my son was getting emotional that it's part of the human experience and it really was something I needed to hear. I look forward to my son having a regular barber! “We love Sharkey’s of West Chester. Jess and her crew is the absolute best! We’ve done both our kids first cuts there and our daughter had all we friends for a 7th birthday there. There is no better place for a quick cut or an awesome birthday party. I took my son for a trim today and it was so painless Eve though he can be tough! “I go to Eric every time I need a haircut. Haven’t been anywhere else since. He’s extremely meticulous, does a thorough job, takes his time, and makes sure you like what he’s doing. His cuts are always exactly what I asked for and he’s always consistent. On top of all that, extremely friendly and welcoming. Gives good vibes all around. Definitely should be one of your top options when getting a cut.“

“I got my hair cut here and it was a generally positive experience. I got what I asked for with pleasant conversation and good service. There's a bar where you can get drinks and coffee while you wait. My favorite part is that it's a full service place that washes your hair and pampers you a bit. Much better experience than a barber.

Beware though, not all stylists are created equal. My husband got his hair done here and he wasn't as happy with his cut. He felt the person didn't really give him what he asked for and there were some communication issues there.

We might try again so he can get his hair done with my stylist. We'll see. Would recommend for the full service though!
