She offered me coffee right away, took the time to really talk with me, and actually listened—not just about my hair goals, but about life in general. That alone meant so much to me and instantly put me at ease.
Marlie has such a calming, supportive presence. She made me feel beautiful, confident, and truly seen. I never once felt rushed or brushed off. She cared deeply about the health of my hair while still making sure we achieved the exact color I wanted. You can tell she takes pride in her work and in her clients—she explains things, checks in often, and makes sure you’re comfortable every step of the way.
On top of her incredible talent, her energy is just unmatched. She gave total elder emo vibes (which I loved because I’m an elder emo too), and it made me feel so safe and happy in her chair. There was this unspoken understanding, and it honestly felt like I was sitting with someone I’d known for years. That kind of connection is rare, and it made the entire experience even more special.
I walked out of the salon feeling not only obsessed with my hair, but genuinely uplifted and confident. Marlie is hands down the best hairstylist I’ve ever been to—kind, talented, supportive, and real. She absolutely earned a new lifelong client in me.
