Schuylkill Community Action has worked with ACA for years, and they have become so much more than just an IT company to us. As a nonprofit agency serving individuals and families across our community, our technology, phones, internet, security systems, and overall network infrastructure are critical to keeping our services running. When people need emergency food, utility assistance, housing resources, or other support, we need systems that work—and ACA makes sure they do.
Dan, our account representative, goes above and beyond for us constantly. He understands the realities of working in the nonprofit world and never treats us like “just another client.” He works with us to find practical, affordable solutions that actually fit our budget while still keeping us secure, operational, and up to date. He is honest, responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure our agency succeeds.
Anthony deserves a huge shoutout as well. He is basically the MacGyver of IT. Wiring, cameras, troubleshooting, random technical issues, finding creative ways to make older equipment work longer — he does it all. As a nonprofit, we do not always have the ability to replace everything with brand-new equipment every time something changes or breaks, and ACA understands that. Instead of pushing unnecessary upgrades, they move mountains to make things work for us safely, efficiently, and affordably.
Their team also keeps our agency protected around the clock with constant monitoring and proactive support. During our recent staff meeting, Dan and Colin took the time to walk our staff through cybersecurity awareness, phishing attempts, suspicious emails, password security, scam prevention, safe browsing habits, and the importance of protecting sensitive client information. They explained everything in a way that was easy for non-technical staff to understand without ever making anyone feel talked down to. You can tell they genuinely care about educating and protecting their clients, not just selling services.
Colin, Emily, Scott, and honestly the entire ACA team have always been incredibly friendly, patient, and easy to work with. At this point, they feel more like friends and partners than outside IT support. No matter what problem comes up, they are quick to respond, easy to talk to, and focused on finding real solutions.
One thing I appreciate most about ACA is that they understand how important reliability is for agencies like ours. Downtime is not just inconvenient for us—it directly impacts vulnerable people in our community who rely on our services. ACA understands that responsibility and treats our systems with the urgency and care they deserve.
I could honestly go on and on about how wonderful this company is. If you are looking for an IT company that is knowledgeable, trustworthy, responsive, affordable, and truly cares about its clients, I cannot recommend American Computer Associates, Inc. enough. Absolutely 5 out of 5 stars.

Excellent company! I called on a Saturday adternoon. He was here and fixed the issue with my furnace in the evening. And being a Saturday you'd think there would have been an emergency fee but he only charged me the service fee. George gained a liferime customer in me and I 1000% recommend him to everyone I know!

I decide to try Jennifer's Nail Salon for my manicure and pedicure after being frustrated with another local business that I had been going to. Scheduling was easy and I appreciated the ease of texting to set up my appointment. The shop appeared clean and quaint when I met Jennifer for my manicure. She was so warm and welcoming and really listened to my requests. Andrew did my pedicure and was very thorough and friendly. I did not feel rushed and both services were completed with care and attention. As a 1st time client, they made me feel important and their prices were fair for the quality of work they performed. My nails were neat, shaped properly and most importantly, even! I highly recommend Jennifer's Nail Salon - 5 stars!!
