Penn National Golf Club & Inn offers an exceptional golfing experience with its stunning Founders course, which is tree-lined and tight, making it possibly the easiest course to walk with a pushcart. In addition to the Founders course, there is the Iron Forge, noted as the toughest course to walk, featuring long hills and some distance between the green and tee box on several holes. Both courses are in great shape, providing beautiful views for golfers of all levels. The hospitality at Penn National is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff, including the Pro shop, starters, and servers. Guests find the rooms clean and comfortable, although some may feel dated. While the food and drinks are very good, the nearby activities remain limited. Visitors appreciate the short walk to the clubhouse, though many opt to drive. Overall, the commitment to quality service is evident, but some aspects of the lodging and course conditions have raised concerns among repeat visitors.
I only golfed the Iron Forge course at this stay and play golf resort. This group is very organized. The course was in great shape. I would consider a Stay & Play package in the future.
Overall, it was a great time just like always you all got it together! Thank you very much as far as the rooms. They’re a great place to rest your head, but there are more like a dorm than a hotel! But it works
Stay and play is awesome. 2 really nice golf courses. Both are different and a lot of fun. The place is in the middle of nowhere but easy to find. Food at the restaurant is really good and the wait staff is awesome.
