While at Nemacolin, we spent 3 days at the Woodlands Spa. We have been to dozens of soas, and this one is special. Great amenities (steam, eucalyptus, sauna, hot tubs, indoor salt water pool, tranquility rooms, fireside meditation area, tasty snacks and beverages). Gorgeous decor, with open floor plans. And, in particular, outstanding service!

A particular shout out to Keri, who was my massage therapist for 2 of my 3 90-minute treatments. I was experiencing serious neck and right shoulder pain. Not only did Keri provide me with expert muscle work, but, on the fly, she offered personally-tailored to neck stretching work that provided me with real relief.

Recently had the opportunity to experience the Woodlands Spa while on vacation at Nemacolin. Had a wonderful relaxing massage with Angie, followed by some much needed relaxation /down time in the fireside lounge. Definitely recommend visiting this spa !

Nemacolin itself is a unique place. A luxury playground with a zoo, airplane hanger, golf course galore, clay shooting and basically whatever you want to do. However, while the spa was good, there just felt like something was missing. I will give it 4.5 stars if I could on Yelp. Not quite 5 stars. Price: $$$$ massages start at 300+ for 80 min and go upwards. Facials start at 250+ for men and 300+ for women and with add ons the price can climb quickly. Gratuity is added already but you can adjust after your service accordingly. Pros: very friendly staff, locker areas are clean. Showers are cleaned quickly after patrons use them. All the amenities you need to freshen up are provided and the robes are OH so soft. When you book a service, you have access to the pool, saunas and whirlpool. There is also a fireside lounge on the third floor where you can also reserve to relax in. Kim, the aesthetician that gave me my facial took the time to explain everything, was very thorough in evaluation of my skin and took my concerns in mind in her treatment. She didn't rush the appointment and made honest recommendations without trying to sell me any products. She was great! They have biologique recherche products, which provides another type of facial experience. Cons: really not too much. Would be nice to have a common waiting are for men and women, especially a couple waiting for treatments. Men's steam sauna was broken at the time. For the women's, there was a strong smell of chlorine in the Eucalyptus steam sauna. For such a luxury place, felt like these small details add up when you are paying 600+ for experiences. Likelihood of returning: high when at the resort again. However, it's not open to the public if you're not staying on the property.
