Ken, the service technician, relit the pilot on my gas fireplace, showed me how to do so if necessary, explained how the remote sensor works and why mine didn't (dead batteries.) He cleaned the unit, polished the glass, with meticulous attention to all the inner workings --- took the ceramic logs out and vacuumed them as well. The fireplace looks better than ever. I am very happy with his work and the service. Plus Ken was very easy to work with and got the job done quickly.

So glad we found this business! After calling 3 different businesses, one of which came out at a charge of $150 to take one glance at our fireplace and tell us that we needed to replace the whole thing, the 2nd also said it was too old and that it needed a full replacement. The 3rd company told us over the phone the same thing. The cost to replace would run somewhere between $8K to $10K with no guarantee that the surrounding slate would not be damaged. In other words, it would cost even more.Our fireplace is 28 years old, but had rarely been used.
