Arrived early for my Monday morning appointment. Waited 45 minutes and was never informed of what (wasn't) going on. The staff person was unaware of the time, "I don't wear a watch." "I had to wait until a room was available." Isn't that part of scheduling? Or do the excuses just rotate, regardless of what is true? I left. My time is valuable, too.
December 2023
Dr. McGuire is fantastic. I have been in his care for over 20 years. The practice however like most medical facilities seem to now be corporatized and take away the autonomy. I was sick same symptoms as spouse. He had a script called in which helped. I got same bug. Doctor on call refused to call in script without seeing me ( despite the fact that med record showed a successful course of treatment). So my hub is getting better and I remain without script . What a liability.
August 2023
Been with this office for approximately 10 years. I feel like the Dr/practitioner I have could care less. I complained for 10 yrs about chronic heartburn, they did/suggested nothing. I finally went to a GI Dr on my own & turns out I had a hiatal hernia. During one visit to go over lab work the NP asked if I was ever anemic, said I don’t think so, she said nothing more. I had to have bloodwork done by the GI doc. Turns out I was SEVERELY ANEMIC. I’ll be looking for a Dr who actually advocates for the patient
