My friend and I really enjoyed the fire-and-ice service today. We did 20 minutes in the sauna (they kindly gave us an extra 5 minutes), and then 15 minutes in the cold plunge. The infared sauna was beautiful and felt amazing, and was hot enough to have us dripping by the end of 20 minutes. Then we walked across the hall to immediately follow it with the cold plunge. Neither of us had ever done a cold plunge, and we each did two 3-min sessions each. It was a shock to our system, but we managed to tough it out, and it definitely was amazing for stress relief and invigoration. As you wear bathing suits, it’s very fun and easy to do with a friend.
