I was looking for a vet in the area for my 15 yo female cat who had suddenly started to urinate outside of her litter box and was acting out of character. I liked what I read about EAH so I made an appointment. When I arrived the front desk was very professional and helpful. After a short wait a tech came out and took my cat into a room without me which I thought was strange but considering COVID (even though NO ONE on the clinic had on a mask) I didn't make a fuss about it. Money driven. Not truly caring for pets. I called about allergy issue on Wednesday and never received a call back. I had to call today and they were clueless as to what I was talking about. My dog is pregnant and I did not want to give prescription because of pregnancy. So I called to see what I could give her. I usually give her medicine for a week then her itching stops. It prevents skin issues ect. Then they tell me I have to make an appointment to be seen. Earliest appointment is Monday! I called Ellwood Animal Hospital in an emergency for my cat and even with a completely booked schedule Dr. Maro and her staff were able to get him in and also take blood work, x-rays, provide laser treatment and fluids all the while this was an unscheduled and unexpected visit. the entire staff was kind and our Luke got lots of love and TLC. she also was able to squeeze us in for his follow up visit while also being accommodating to our work schedules. I'm so thankful to Dr. Maro and her staff! she has our boy on the mend all while using safe and natural medicines and we could not be happier with his progress ??
