We just adopted our cat from here, and had a great experience! Their new building is beautiful, and a huge improvement from the old one. They seem to do a great job taking care of the animals here! The adoption process was easy but thorough. When we took our cat home, we got a "goody bag" full of food, treats, toys, and a folder full of important information about our new cat. We had such a great experience with the staff here, and we're so happy with our new family member!

I love the ladies of the shelter and the care time patience and attention and compassion that they show each and every animal and the animals parents Ms Val is a godsend along with herself as is Miss Kim's Secreet who handles the animal department for Washington County these are true animal lovers and they saved my Nova came to me abused I was only supposed to watch it for a weekend I'm allergic to her but you've been kept in a cage for a while and she would holes in her paws cuz she had anxiety and I didn't keep her in case I just let her hang out and then I healed her paws and she and I have been together ever since along with allergy medicine LOL Nova ended up pregnant...read full review

The staff and volunteers are wonderful. All of the fur babies are clean and well looked after and they do things in a timely fashion. And they are also very helpful to the public. While I was there a person came in that had taken in a stray cat and I didn't get the entire story but I did see them go above and beyond to help not only the stray but was also there to help the person. I would def recommend checking here to adopt your next fur family member.
