Woke up to a clogged gray water/french drain that had started to back up in my finished basement. As I scrambled to get it unplugged the water continued slowly coming in. When I contacted my Insurance, I was told I wasn't covered. Needless to say I have a $2000 yearly homeowners policy with a $3000 deductible! Talk about two blows at once. I called a close friend who does Haz Mat cleanup. He advised he does not do this but to call Mammoth out of Edinboro. I placed the call and within 1 hour Kyle was in my driveway! 10 minutes later Alex and Caleb arrived and started getting to work. Kyle asked who my insurance was and I explained that I wasn't covered. and that I was at his mercy. He honestly, in my mind, felt bad for me. He gave me a quote that I couldn't believe! I was shocked at how well he worked with me. The guys set up a ton of fans and dehumidifiers and advised that they would be back Monday morning at 0800 to get the floor up and hauled away. (This was a Friday) Monday at 0745 Alex, Caleb, Dan and Ryan showed up and by 0945 we had the floor up, more fans and dehumidifiers and I was feeling pretty good about a bad situation. Alex continued to monitor throughout the week and by Thursday we were all dried up and moving forward. I am rarely impressed at contractors, and I normally do most of my own work, but I was nervous of mold etc. Kyle and his crew were outstanding! When someone shows up when they say they will that is worth a lot in my mind. Kyle is an asset to Mammoth and he and his crew will ALWAYS be the team I will call if ever needed and I will certainly pass their names along to all of my friends.
Tremendous company. Did everything they said they would do. Really cared about the situation in my home. Showed up on time every time. A pleasure to deal with. Would recommend them to my own family.
