Restart Home Renovations remodelled our kitchen and two bathrooms and we were absolutely delighted in the final result and precise workmanship that made this transformation possible. We were impressed by their attention to even the smallest detail and were very meticulous in all their work to make sure everything was done well . We were very happy with the result and would recommend this company to anyone needing renovations.
We hired Scott Holwick from Restart Homes to remodel our first floor: kitchen, dining room, powder room, living room. We are completely satisfied and LOVE the end result!! It really couldn’t be better! It looks like it’s straight out of a magazine (many of our friends made this comment too!). Not only does it look good at first glance, but if you look closely, you can see that the work is done with excellence. The painting is perfect with completely smooth walls & ceiling and perfect lines for ceiling cut-in and trim. The cabinets, flooring, doors, and molding are straight and square and there are no gaps where there shouldn’t be. In addition to looking good, everything works exactly as it should. HVAC, plumbing, and electric were all re-worked correctly, to code, and with the proper permits & inspections. Scott does all the work himself except for demo and granite installation. He was SO great to work with and he made the whole process completely stress-free. From the time of my initial inquiry to the time we received a detailed quote was a total of about two weeks (included an in-person meeting at my home). The quote was itemized with several choices provided so that we could make educated decisions on the final project. After we decided on the final project, he helped us pick out all the materials and colors which kept a potentially difficult task very easy. He already knew the right placement for lighting, so we didn’t need to figure that out on our own. He always went above and beyond to make things look good and function well. I really appreciated that he vacuumed the dust while sanding, which prevented it from travelling to other parts of the house. He often worked late (with our permission), but switched to quiet jobs in the late evening so as to not disturb anyone. He kept the refuse from being in the way or being an eye-sore by having the demo company come pick it up a few times throughout the job instead of keeping a big dumpster in the driveway. Scott was extremely easy to communicate with as well. He always answered texts and emails quickly and completely. Nothing was forgotten or done in a different way than requested.
