The staff were all super nice. The dr. took her time and gave me a thorough eye exam. I’ve never had any place take their time like she did. I made my son an appt and he said his experience was the same. There was a wonderful selection of frames and we won’t go anywhere else.

I've been using Designer Family Eyecare for many years now. I no longer live in York, PA, HOWEVER, I visit York about once or twice a year, and I will not use any other eyecare specialist, AT ALL, as I am their customer for life. Dr. Spotts makes sure your presciption is PERFECT, and James is AWESOMELY FANTASTIC! I was just in York, and they shipped my glasses to me in North Carolina, VERY HAPPY!.............again.

I dropped my glasses from a 2nd story window onto a cement porch. The frames shattered but the lenses were not damaged. I called several opticians/optometrists in the area and asked if they could fit my lenses into a new frame. No luck. Then I called Designer Family Eyecare. It was close to closing time but James said he could help and to come right over. James was friendly and knowledgeable. He showed me several frames that would fit the existing lenses and after selecting a frame, he adjusted the lenses to fit the new frame, and my glasses are as good as new!
