They were amazing from start to finish with helping us deal with my mom’s sudden passing. Looking back at it now few months later the time they took for us and the way they made the pics into video and time spent with us was very heartfelt and helpful to make sure it was way it needed to be for her memory. As hard of thing as a loss of a loved one is to navigate, they stepped right in to help do it right away.. I can’t thank them enough. Chris is great to work with and genuinely cares that things are done the way you want them done.
In love with the new ownership and management of our local Harkins Funeral Home. I have been a member of this community for 28 years and had never met the past owners. Although nice for several reasons, it was so nice Chris went around and wanted to know about his community. He noticed I had been having a little tiff with a snow loving employee and offered their services to pull off one of the most hilarious pranks. Long story short he didn't have to be open minded and jump in to help me, he hardly knew me. But he did because he wanted to bond with the community. I think that says a lot!
My husband of 23 years passed away suddenly on June 29, 2026. It was unexpected and very upsetting. Chris Boggs at Wagner-Elfner Funeral Home went above and beyond to make the entire experience as comfortable as it could possibly be. Chris was genuinely interested in learning about my husband and made some wonderful recommendations to us that enabled us to say goodbye to him in a way that honored him both in life and death. Losing someone you love can be very traumatic and it is hard to think clearly when making decisions about final arrangements.
