You’ll get to ride a variety of horses. The trainer Is tough but she will help you earn your horses trust. She makes sure you can walk, trot, and canter without stirrups. Her main goal is the whole lessen is to build strength in the rider. I once asked her how I did and she said “ you’re lucky you didn’t die”. She may be tough and hard to talk to. But you’ll always get an answer. Her main goal is safety. Because of her I do timed eventing and hunter jumper ❣️

We have been at Borrowdale for 27 years and counting. The owner and trainer provides her wealth of knowledge to teach you to ride, take care of your animal and have fun doing it. The friendships I developed there are amazing along with the fun times going to horse shows. The bonus, ask Peg Bell any question concerning animals and plants and you will get an answer. My daughter and I are very happy we became part of Borrowdale. ?

Borrowdale Acres is one of the best well put together barns in NEPA. With a very knowledgeable trainer, safety is always a #1 priority. I have personally been at Borrowdale for 11 years and I have learned how to take care of all the animals as well as ride a lot of the horses.
