“My husband and I have boarded with Russ twice now. Russ is an amazing doggie babysitter! We have boarded our Chihuahua, Macie and our Boxer, Tucker, twice now. Tucker is very protective of me, and usually goes bonkers when someone comes between the two of us, especially men. I was worried that we wouldn't be able to board him the first time for this reason. But he must have sensed that Russ is an incredibly nice man, because he took to him instantly! Russ "tested" our pups taking them for quite a long walk around his property. Tucker walked excitedly beside him, so it was a huge relief!Russ has also been very flexible... on both trips we were delayed by a day, and it was no problem. He also kept both pups (kenneled together as we asked him to) close by the doorway, as Tucker can be standoffish with other dogs. He also gave him his prescription meds. Both dogs are always happy and exhausted after a stay at Russ', which I haven't always noticed with other kennels. He walks them at least three times a day, and calls Tucker his buddy, lol.The kennels are large, out in the country, and EXTREMELY clean. Russ' rates are extremely reasonable, and he feeds the dogs high-quality dog food (same as they eat at home, by luck, so no GI upsets) and administers meds for no extra fee.I've had dogs all my life, and have paid exhorbanate fees for "doogie day-care"-type kennels which I always thought were superior, but my mind has changed. I'd recommend this kennel over every other kennel I've ever used!Thanks so much, Russ!!!“
