My wife and I booked a romantic dinner ride with Doug and had a great experience. The horses are well trained and easy to ride (at least for me, a beginner) and Doug was kind and helpful as well as understanding when we had to reschedule a couple times. It sounds like you can ride on harder trails if you like. The dinner is ordered from nearby restaurant 412 Project (or Primanti's) and was good, you just call your order in ahead of time. You eat in a small cabin on the property, they had it ready for us when we got off the horses, this was very nice. Would definitely return here.
Incredible and unique experience. If you've never been horseback riding I highly recommend this. You can garner more experience if you don't own horses by riding a few times here and then go on experienced trails. We got a small taste of horses maneuvering them and it is exhilarating! You can also feel good about supporting them as the owners take great care of their horses.
Haven't been on a horse in over 40 years. It was a crisp, sunny morning that made the ride just perfect. There is a guide, but that was cool as there was only my female friend, myself, and the guide. It's just about an hour ride, total. Afterward, I felt like I just got off a horse. Highly recommend
