“My friend was retiring and I had planned to send her flowers at the end of her last week.

She called me in the middle of the week at the end of her workday, a little choked up. I called the florist an hour before closing and took the chance that they could send flowers last minute.

I looked up the address and they are very close to her house so it was worth a shot. They were able to fill the order and the flowers are beautiful!
