Millie’s Makeover’s is great! I’ve been taking my two dogs here for about nine months now. My dogs are generally anxious about getting groomed and having their nails trimmed, but the groomers here are always so friendly, kind, and patient with them.
I previously stopped in another grooming business (and immediately left) because it was very chaotic, unorganized, and the groomers were snapping at the dogs for getting upset and pulling away. Millie’s Makeovers is the complete opposite — very clean, quiet, and the dogs are treated with care. Millie’s also has evening hours, which is great if you work 9 to 5. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
I have a 5lb, 6 month toy poodle puppy Dolly Parton who is my WHOLE world! Her first groomer unfortunately moved to Scotland so I had to find a new place. I was stressed because she is like a baby to me so I want her to go to the best. The first place I called (not Millie’s) the owner was SO beyond rude and made it seem like she hated to do puppies. Like it was a bother. I did not trust her with my precious baby. Dolly is very well behaved, she was groomed 3 times before and loves it, and I regularly trim her paws and face and bathe and blow dry her every 2 weeks so she’s used to it.
