Just needed glasses quickly and for a short term before cataract surgery. They were very accommodating and didn’t try to push unneeded extras on me. I just walked in and I was helped immediately.
I wanted to order sunglasses because the MD that wrote my script doesn't accept my eye insurance. My script is a bit atypical but the woman who helped was wonderful and went above and beyond to figure out my insurance and quickly and smoothly ordered my sunglasses and clearly explained several upgraded options that are ideal for my unique needs. The place I went to for years now keeps the door locked in a Covid world and wouldn't let me in without an appointment, which I can understand, but they were rude and wouldn't let me make an appointment from the parking lot. I had to call them. It was bizarre.
O'Hora in Clarks Summit is always the most friendly staff! I feel like a valuable person, not just a patient. They do not pressure you to buy more than you need, and truly are gracious. I never knew I could enjoy an eye doctor too much until I began going to O'Hora a few years ago.
