Dr. Hartzell had been encouraging me over the years to consider LASIK surgery. Finally this year we were able to get it scheduled and I’m so happy I finally did it! I was given lots of information, they all were clear with the process and constantly asking if I had any questions. I’ve been wearing glasses since middle school and contacts since high school. I’m now in my mid 40s and can see without any intervention!! Dr. Hartzell and his team are very professional and personable. He really cares. I highly recommend!
Dr. Hartzell is not only a talented professional but cares about each and every patient. He is honest and humble. I would much rather wait a few extra minutes in his office than be rushed through somewhere without true concern for patients. He did cataract surgery on me yesterday and tonight I threaded a needle for the first time in decades. I would recommend him and his associate Dr. Crouse any time to anyone. Previous to this they discovered a retinal tear and made arrangements that very day to have it repaired. I will always be grateful for the entire staff at Hartzell Eye Specialists.
staff are all very kind and efficient. but wait time is outrageous. if you're going to see Dr Hartwell, take a book or 2, maybe lunch and something to drink and a blanket if you want to take a nap
