Sew Shop, a sewing studio, offers expert wedding gown alterations, including bridal party and mother of the bride and groom alterations. Clients are seen by appointment only. The owner, a Fashion Institute of Technology graduate, provides kind and thoughtful service, making clients feel beautiful and comfortable. Her skills and expertise working with super delicate fabrics is so reassuring. She is very professional, timely, and runs her business with such care. The studio is adorable, clean, and well kept, creating a cozy environment that eases anxiety. She is a wonderful person and the best in the area, providing expert education and delicate craftsmanship.
Eve is absolutely amazing! She is so sweet, patient, and incredibly easy to work with throughout the entire alterations process. She made every appointment such a pleasant experience.
Both my mom and I had our alterations done by Eve, and we both loved working with her. Her attention to detail is incredible, and she truly cares about making sure everything fits perfectly. Eve is very thorough in her work. She has decades of experience and went to fashion/design school in NYC! She has the mind of an artist, being able to look at a garment on you and a blueprint starts building in her mind! I have had various clothing items repaired or altered by Eve and have taken several sewing lessons from her. She is a wealth of knowledge and explains the how’s and why’s in a very digestible manner.
Eve was excellent. She was organized, timely, and made sure that I was always happy with the alterations for my wedding dress. She was able to take in the over the shoulder and create a unique bustle for my long chapel-length train. She also altered my family's MOB and MOH dress.
