Dr. Stern was incredibly helpful with my dachshund, who was suffering from back problems caused by IVDD. When I first brought him to her office, it was the second time his back had gone out, but this time he was completely unable to walk.

We tried medications, crate rest, and laser therapy, but unfortunately, nothing was working this time. After meeting with Dr. Stern, she performed VOM and several sessions of acupuncture—probably around 20 sessions in total. The treatments made a huge difference! I noticed my Guinea pig wasn’t eating so i got an emergency vet appointment with Dr.Stern. I wanna add the vet tech Roxanne was amazing im a teenager so this was my first pet seeing her in that state broke my heart, and Roxanne was so empathetic and lovely when it came to trying to help and she even helped calm me down. Dr stern gave her medicine and Critical care to feed her she was eating it and doing better for a day or so but she was 5 years old and they day i was supposed to go back to the vet she did unfortunately pass away. Disrespectful and unprofessional. My mother called for an appointment and they put her on hold (or so they thought) and immediately started repeatedly calling her an idiot and talking about what extra charges they could add to her bill if they did agree to see her. I’ve heard from so many people awful things about this place, but the fact their staff is so uncaring and rude to an elderly woman looking for help is the icing on the cake. Do not recommend.

For what it’s worth: we did receive an apology when we called, so hopefully it’s a teachable moment for staff. She is still hysterical and feels like she did something wrong.
