“Jim and crew replaced our front door, repaired floor damage, removed an old concrete stoop and replaced it with a new custom stoop using TREX decking, installed railing and installed new lighting. All the work was done in a timely manner and on budget. Plus the guys were great to work with. Could not ask for more!“

“I have used this handyman twice, once last year and once this year. According to the handyman Steve's website, he has decades of experience, and he can do plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, drywall, decks, ceramic tile, countertops, windows, shelving, etcetera. For my first service in December 2020, my husband had to call Steve a couple of months in advance because Steve was so busy with other customers. On the day of the service, Steve showed up at our house exactly on time. I presented my to-do list to him: install two chandeliers, four ceiling fans, a light dimmer, and two wire closet shelves. Furthermore, I asked him to remove a screwed-on and glued-on mirror from my living room wall and to custom-build wainscoting to match old wainscoting on the rest of the wall. He completed all of the work in a total of 10 hours. Steve's work was a very high quality. He charged a total of several hundred dollars. In May 2021, I called Steve to see if he could squeeze me in at the last minute for a small job. To my surprise, one of his other customers cancelled her appointment, so Steve was able to come to my house the next day. In one hour, he re-hung nine closet doors and demolished a built-in wooden workbench. He was going to charge me $75 total, but then my husband asked him to remove a metal lightbulb base that was stuck in a light fixture, and that several minutes of work cost us an additional $35, because Steve charges by the half hour.“

“FHR has done 2 home projects for us. Project #1, replace a bathroom sink bowel, was started and completed on time. John was through in explaining the project and all the necessary steps involved. John and his crew were efficient and took great care when working indoors. The cost of the project was as quoted. Project #2 was a repair to the outside deck. While the work went smoothly, the job was completed 2 months after the initial proposal was signed. Over the 2 months other projects were taking priority. Our project kept being pushed back and as a result our project was not completed according to plan. When completed it was in an efficient manner and in less time than expected.John’s greatest asset is his creative approach to problem solving. A challenge seems to be a system for communication. A full voicemail box often deterred us from leaving a message. Text messages were usually answered within 2-3 days.Overall we are very satisfied with the work he and his crew did for us. The quality/workmanship is very good; he is detail oriented and maintains a tidy work environment inside and outsideServices: General construction“
