Balouris Eye Center is a mixed experience, with some humanity in the staff but also issues like long wait times, a minor eye issue that was not mentioned, and a nurse causing additional scarring. However, many praise Dr. Balouris as an excellent surgeon who gave them back their sight, with a highly professional and caring staff. Overall, Balouris Eye Center is a recommended option for eye care.
Cataract surgery for both eyes using the Panoptix lens. Dr. Pappas works miracles; my vision went from SD to UHD! Everything is brighter and colors are incredibly vibrant. I hadn't realized how bad they had become. The best part? I can read without glasses again after 25 years!
The office is a factory.
Once you get past the front desk there is some humanity in the employees.
There was a minor issue with 1 of my eyes , the Dr chose not to mention it.
The nurse in OR prep put the stint in my arm, I now have another scar there.
When you go to your appointment don't bother being early.
You will wait until your appointment time and beyond,
I can’t speak highly enough about Dr. Balouris and the Butler Surgery Center. In addition to being a marvelous surgeon, Dr. Balouris, his staff and the people at the surgery center were outstanding. Thank you, Dr. Balouris for giving me back my sight!
