Look no further, this salon is a hidden gem! I consider myself to be a "picky" client, but that was no challenge to Rachel and owner Wei. I came in to see Rachel and let her know that it was well over a year since I've had an actual haircut. I also let her know that I wanted a curly perm that would give my hair more volume. My hair naturally is pin-straight and very fine, which means that it is not the easiest type of hair to perm. Rachel went above and beyond with her service. She cut my hair to perfection, exactly as I wanted. No more, no less. During the cut, she found a dread lock that I have been meaning to brush out. That dreadlock was in my hair for nearly 8 years, it was the last one I had left. While we were waiting for my perm to start, she volunteered to start brushing it out and Wei came over to assist. In under 10 minutes, they were able to completely brush out the dreadlock and trim it so that it was the same length as the rest of my hair! This also meant that I got a second shampooing!!! I was so ecstatic that they were able to brush it out that very same day because those hairs from the dreadlock were going to be permed too! Wei and Rachel double-teamed my perm when putting it in the curlers. What I loved about the service is that it was my first time using different sized curlers for my entire head which Wei suggested because it was suppose to give the perm more texture. She was completely RIGHT, I was so happy with the end result. Now that it's been nearly a week and I've washed out the perm. I have been receiving compliments on it every single day. What I loved the most about this salon is: - Rachel was waiting for my arrival. I usually have to sit and wait anywhere else, but for once my stylist was waiting on me! - CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. The entire salon was completely spotless! - Rachel and Wei took their time to perfect my hair to my exact liking. - My service, for once, did not feel rushed! They take their time here and really care about their customers. - My hair typically takes 2.5 - 3 hours, but because the girls were so entertaining, it felt like the service was finished in the blink of an eye! I will be returning to this salon to see Rachel and Wei for all of my cuts and perming needs, thank you so much for making my hair beautiful again!
