my son usually acts like an animal when getting his hair cut. From walking in to seeing the trains to play with, to the super friendly hair stylist - we had such a great experience. He even sat in the booster seat while I stood in front of him (this is huuuuge improvement). She had a new toy to show him every few minutes and it really just made the whole experience less stressful. It’s the only place I’ll take him from now on!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m originally from New York, and anyone who knows barbershop culture there knows—we don’t just go anywhere for a cut. I recently moved up here and brought my son to Woody’s Barbershop, and I was seriously impressed.
It’s a woman-owned barbershop (which some might underestimate), but let me tell you—she knows how to fade. The owner is the one I go to, and the way she cleaned up my son’s haircut made me switch to her myself. And that’s saying something—I’m a loyal barbershop guy. Once I find someone who gets it right, I stick with them.
We went for my son's first haircut. They were patient, kind, and gentle with him. They made sure to save locks of hair for his grandparents who had requested it. He was also presented with a first haircut certificate.
