This was my first time getting my hair braided in a long time and it was such a nice experience. I'm super awkward (It was just me and the braider, and I'm a bad talker), but she still made it comfortable. I purchased the wash and blow dry and wash and I was too shy to ask what she used because my hair was, uh, not cute, and it didn't hurt once. Not a single tug or yank. And the braids? Omg, I can't stop gushing about them. She had the perfect tension. Tight and smooth, but no headaches or pain. I haven't enjoyed my hair this much in awhile. No waiting, no line, and quick service. Ruth and Sara are both provide an excellent experience. This is my 3rd set of braids at Arike. Once with Sara and Twice with Ruth. They are quick, efficient and take great care with the health of your hair. This is the only braid salon that I would use
I love the small knotless braids. usually when I get them, they last between 8 to 10 weeks and I always get many compliments on where and who does my braids. The colors are vibrant. I’ve had a few different colors and each time I love them.
