Boiling Springs Animal Hospital (BSAH) is a veterinary clinic that has been serving the South Central Pennsylvania community since 1989. One satisfied client had a wonderful experience at BSAH with their kitten, who was seen by Dr. Debra Buchanan for roundworm, vaccinations, and a general check-up. The client praised Dr. Buchanan for being warm, welcoming, and taking the time to explain the kitten's health while listening to their concerns without judgment. Another client was equally impressed with BSAH's care for their 11-year-old German Shorthair, Maka. During Maka's annual exam, Dr. Buchanan discovered an enlarged spleen and performed an x-ray and ultrasound, which led to the removal of a 9lb tumor attached to it. The subsequent biopsy proved both the spleen and tumor were benign, and Maka's recovery was quick and without complications. The client commended Dr. Buchanan and the BSAH staff for their exceptional performance and communications throughout the surgery. Recently, another client had to make a difficult decision with their ill cat. They noted that the staff was kind, compassionate, and loving towards both their cat and themselves, helping to make the situation a bit easier. Another family faced an emergency with their beloved dog, and the entire staff stayed late into the night trying to save their pet. Despite the unfortunate outcome, they expressed gratitude for the veterinarian’s kind and compassionate communication during that difficult time. They appreciated how the staff supported their family through this experience. Great practice! I have moved twice since I started using BSAH, tried using other vets, and always come back. They always get us an appointment in a timely manner, always return my calls, even if it has to be after hours with results, and have excellent specialty vet recommendations. Dr. Buchanan takes is thorough in her exams and takes her time to explain results. Very thankful for their kindness and expertise!
