“Yesterday I took my 20-month-old son in for his second haircut, and while his first experience went smoothly, this time was a completely different story. He’s now entering that “strong opinions” stage, and let’s just say—he was not a fan of the haircut.

Ed was absolutely incredible through it all. He was so patient, gave my son breaks when he needed them, and never once seemed rushed or frustrated. He even brought out toy cars to help keep him distracted and comfortable, and was more than happy to let me hold him during the haircut.

He also went above and beyond by telling me to come back if anything needed to be touched up since my son wasn’t very cooperative. He even tried not to charge me because he felt bad about how tough the haircut was—but I insisted. That really says a lot about his character.

It’s clear that the change in behavior had nothing to do with Ed’s—my son’s behavior change was just part of his age—but despite the chaos, Ed still managed to give him a great haircut. I truly appreciated his calm, flexible approach and kindness throughout the whole experience.

Make sure to make an appointment to be on the safe side because Dave gets full pretty quick. You could try his work partner (Nick), he does a pretty good job too. Both quality of work.

“I was welcomed as soon as I walked in and was lucky enough to get seated right away. Emily cut my hair and absolutely nailed it. She took the time to use a larger clipper guard than I originally thought I used, explaining that if I didn't like the length, she could always go shorter—but she couldn't add hair back if a #2 ended up being too short.
As it turned out, she was right about the clipper size I should be using. I really appreciated her attention to detail and willingness to make sure I got the best result. I'll definitely be going back to see her again.“

“Monica you are awesome! I took my son here yesterday for his very first hair cut and she handled it in the exact way I needed. I’m so glad we ended up coming here because originally I was just traveling to the closest barber to me…it was closed and we ended up here instead ! This was an awesome thing that happened by chance. I’m so glad I got to meet this woman as not only was she awesome with my kiddo but she was a true inspiration to ME. If you’ve never worked in the service industry then you have NO idea how hard that job can really be. I work with people all day long in hopes of creating an experience that suits their needs and people are NOT always nice. They often times forget we are humans also. I want to give a HUGE shout out to this woman for working hard on her feet all day long as this job is not something everyone can do. You have a true talent Monica! HOW in the world you were able to cut my sons hair while he was creating chaos and moving non stop is beyond me…AND when I said “ I’m so sorry” she told me he was doing great! . She made me feel at ease, super comfortable, and safe with my son in her hands…she’s super talented with her tools as well. I’m seriously floored at how she was able to do all of that so fast and get it PERFECT WHILE my son was moving around like a wild animal haha!! She made this a quick, easy, and beautiful experience for my little guy! Seriously he looks so stinkin cute it’s insane. You are very talented Monica and I just wanted to tell you this so you know how appreciated you are by my family! So glad we got to meet you yesterday. I also enjoyed seeing you take care of your other customers who obviously find you to be more like family than just their barber. You’re a cool down to earth and GOOD person.
