Dr. Murarka has a heart full of compassion! He saved my most precious and beloved boy cat from dying. He made a house call, came all the way from Blue Bell to Philly, checked him out and told me to meet him back at the office because his situation was dire. My boy was perfect the next day! And years later when I took in a pregnant stray, she was in distress and lethargic during her labor. I called ahead and he took her right in, saving her life after performing surgery on her to remove the 2 kittens that had died before they could be delivered. dr. Ravi accommodated a new patient at the drop of a hat. He checked her thoroughly and lovingly, being sure to note everything in her records. He is indispensable for TNR and rescued cats. I recognize him from when I used to bring ferals for vetting when he was at the SPCA in Philly. I just found out the beautiful mural of the Vet across from the SPCA is him! Dr Ravi is a great man and a wonderful vet!
Dr. Ravi Murarka saved my cat, Spirit's life a few years back. I bought my cat in, after hours, as I knew she most likely didn't have a chance at surviving if I waited. He quickly examined her and, said that she must be operated on immediately! He informed me that there was a very slight chance for her survival. He worked, without assistance, throughout the night. He phoned me at midnight, after finishing the surgery, as I had requested him to do, so that I could visit her. When I arrived at his office, he gently took her out of the cage. It appeared that she wasn't going to make it as he held her in his arms. I quietly called her name and she opened her eyes, so brightly. Dr. Murarka and I, looked at each other in amazement. SHE MADE IT! I will never forget that night. The "GOOD DOCTOR," stayed with my Spirit the entire night, only resting on a wooden chair in his office to make sure my Spirit was safe and not alone, until I arrived at 8 AM the following morning. The tumor he removed from her was almost as big as her. She recovered quickly and with no complications. Ravi has dedicated his life to animals. I love his COMPASSION for animals. He is kind and caring. He holds a special place in my heart and always will.
