“So being a blue-collar worker and how hot it’s been this week I desperately needed a beard trim my beard was very long for 100 degrees when you work out under the sun all day I called day of to see if there was any openings at the Doylestown location with Anita who always does an amazing job , which is the usual barber I go to but unfortunately she did not have any openings around the time I needed. But thankfully Skye one of the other barbers had a 5 o’clock and was able to fit me in thankfully. From start to finish I knew I was in good hands from the start not only did she make sure she wasn’t putting too much pressure on my neck when she was cutting the lower line of my beard. She also made sure to tell me when to cover my drink so I wouldn’t get any hair in it Not only was she a very personable person and kept the conversation going the whole time so it wasn’t awkward. She also made sure I was happy with the way everything looked and And make sure we were on the same page as far as how I wanted it styled before she started. She did an awesome job with my beard and it looks great. I’ve been going to Modern Male for the past two years. I started going to the Doylestown location about a year ago just because of the proximity to my house, and I can say without a shadow of the doubt, all the barbers in the Doylestown location do a terrific job and I would recommend modern male Doylestown barbers to anyone of my friends. They’re all super great barbers and people who really care which you can tell by the atmosphere they create. Anita, Skye, and Miles make it feel not only very relaxing but also like it’s a family shop.“

“Nate was GREAT! My son doesn’t like hair cuts & I was up front about that. He’s high functioning autistic. As a result, he had us in and out in 18 minutes & the haircut was perfect! Nice clean lines and kept the length like my kiddo asked for. He also evened out the side with the calluses. We will be coming back now to this shop going forward!“

I leave the shop feeling great every time and have never been disappointed with a single haircut from him. Not planning on looking for a new shop any time soon. The guys around the shop all are enjoyable to be around and the environment is unmatched when it comes to other shops in the area. “I've gone here for haircuts and only had them done by Noorie. She is always ready on time, easygoing, and does a great job. She's used both the clippers and scissors to give me a great cut that I receive many compliments on. The place is clean and plays '70's rock at a decibel level that allows enjoyment of the music if you want a quiet cut yet also the ability to have a conversation without struggling to listen. After trying a few places in Roxborough and Manayunk, it's the place that I choose to go for my haircuts.“

“Each of my expectation were exceeded. The location is in a delightful area of West Mt Airy with plenty of parking. The shop itself is spacious with an "updated" vintage barber shop vibe. I was taken exactly at the time of my appt. I had my hair cut by Dave (the owner), who couldn't have been more warm and friendly. We had a GREAT conversation, and it was apparent that he values relationships with his clients. He spoke to me a lot about what I wanted and proposed several options, which I greatly appreciated. He obviously enjoys what he does and takes great pride in his work. It was very important to him that I was fully satisfied. I never felt rushed.
