We had our furnace and AC system replaced by this company. The owners Al and Jim did a great Fast and reasonably priced work. There removal crew was top notch and very carefully taking out old duct work and the furnace. The new furnace runs like a champ . Our AC has never been so good. I put my name on their work . Joe Gillen in Livonia. Highly recommend them!

We had an emergency kitchen faucet issue. We attempted to repair it ourselves, but after taking it apart we realized that we needed a new faucet installed. After hours, we called Baumgardner’s Plumbing and Mechanical. I can’t begin to say enough about their customer service. They answered after hours and were here the next morning at 8am with a new faucet and installed it in less than an hour. No, I am not related to the Baumgardner family, and they did not ask me to review. But, rest assured, we will call them again when we need help, and we highly recommend them!

One bad review on Yelp deserves a great review for this company from a loyal customer in response. We have been using Baumgardner's for the last three years after moving and retiring in Gettysburg. The Rancher style house we bought was built in 1970 and obviously well maintained but we expected the usual age related repairs would be cropping up. Our first call to them was for a dreaded service line leak. I spoke to Mike Baumgardner directly and he immediately dispatched two men including Mike's son-in-law Jason. Fortunately it was easier and quicker to locate where to dig as water was leaking down into the drain at the bottom of our Bilco stairwell outside the basement door. The water was feeding our main and back-up sump pits and the pumps were running all the time. It was amazing to see how quickly they isolated exactly where to break the asphalt and dig into the driveway. All hard manual labor but efficiently done. When the leak was located, the bad was cut away and a new section of stronger pipe was installed. When the house was built in 1970, the service line had not been properly bedded and protected with smaller material around it. We chose not to have the entire length of pipe replaced all the way down the driveway to the street service connection but left the sounding location marks sprayed on the driveway if needed. They improved the house connection which had only a small amount of pipe entering the outer wall and now everything is properly fitted with a nice ball lever shut-off. Mike brought a run of crush rock to fill the hole which we will cover over properly with asphalt when we have the driveway redone. We were so impressed with the job, both speed and quality of work and delivered at a very reasonable price, we had Mike send a tech to do a fall service on our Furnace. A year later our Main sump pump (installed circa 2000) finally gave out, likely from all the extra pumping from the service leak, and Mike and Jason immediately came right out and replaced it with a similar quality brand. No China junk. After that we again had the A/C and furnace evaluated. In total we have received nothing but the best this company has to offer anytime they are called upon. Most impressive is the speed with which they respond and show up at the door. Considering 2 of our jobs were both emergencies I could not be more pleased and happy to have them on my speed dial.
