About The California Drum Shop

The place has awesome lessons for drums with a great teacher, funny, knowledgeable and patient. The place has expertise changing marching snare heads and tuning drums, and a great attitude and sense of humor. Sticks, brushes, and a practice pad from here for college bands work great and got bits of advice on them. The place, highly recommended, has diligent patience.

Awesome place to take lessons! I take lessons with John and he’s a great teacher, he’s funny, and he knows how to bring the best out if his students. Couldn’t ask for a better place to learn how to play drums!

John helped our organization with changing our marching snare heads and tuning the drums. He is very knowledgeable, has a great attitude and sense of humor, and is patient and diligent. I highly recommend him for his expertise and patience.

Extremely fair prices and a very friendly atmosphere. This was the only music shop I was able to find a specific rim for my snare, not to mention the sticks I needed and a great crash!
