“I have visited two Novous locations during my healthcare journey and have found your teams to be talented and wonderful to work with. The Stroudsburg location offers an exceptional experience across the board, and the Bethlehem office is equally lovely once past the front desk.
I am writing to share feedback regarding the front reception at the Bethlehem office. On three separate occasions, I observed unprofessional and mean spirited behavior from the same employee at the front desk:
- First visit: I witnessed her speak to a patient ahead of me in an aggressive manner while explaining a process. Truly uncalled for.
- Second visit: She spoke to and directed her coworkers in a curt, unprofessional tone in front of patients.
- Third visit: While being escorted to an examination room, I observed her berating multible staff members on the lower level in front of myself and 2 other patients.
Healthcare visits can already be stressful and anxiety filled. This ongoing behavior creates an uncomfortable environment for both patients and staff. I encourage management to address this conduct with the employee or consider implementing an internal 360-degree assestment/peer-to-peer evaluation, as many patients may not feel comfortable speaking up.
Aside from this individual, the care and services provided across your locations have been truly wonderful. I bring this to your attention because it appears to be a chronic issue with one person and sadly the one who greets everyone. Thank you for all you do for the community, and best of luck with the new Delaware location.”
