I cannot say enough good things about Julia James Salon. I've been following the owner, Sam, from salon to salon for years. She is in a class of her own in terms of skill and genuine care for her clients. A few years ago, when I needed someone to see me on short notice, I booked an appointment with Anna who has been my go-to ever since! I've had interaction over the years with many of the stylists from extensions, to color, to different cuts, and makeup--- they even did my entire bridal party for my wedding. I am super picky with my hair, and I’ve been struggling for a long time to find a stylist who does a good job, understands what I am asking for, and provides explanation on what she’s doing to my hair. I came to Julia James for my appointment with Savannah and she was AWESOME. She was so kind, so professional, and she explained everything that she was doing to my hair. She even recommended products and a new curling iron. (Which I purchased and I love!!!) I will definitely be coming back to Savannah in the future. She was AWESOME!
When I entered the salon, I was amazed by how friendly and welcoming it was. When I entered, I was greeted by a nice girl named Destiny who made sure I felt comfortable, even offered me a beverage or a snack. My stylist, Autumn, paid extra attention to detail and gave me a haircut and style EXACTLY how I wanted it. She made sure I was relaxed and in control the whole time. This is especially difficult for me, since most salons have a difficult time with my natural curl pattern.
