About Chippewa Plaza Laundromat
Chippewa Plaza Laundromat is a convenient and affordable place for laundry needs. It offers washers and dryers that do a good job for the money, making it a good choice for travelers and locals alike. The laundromat is equipped with a TV, soap vending machine, and some interesting video casino machines, providing entertainment while waiting. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, with surveillance cameras present at all times, giving customers peace of mind. The laundromat is run by a caring owner who keeps the space clean and in good condition. Although the dry cleaning service has closed, the washers and dryers remain in working order, and regular cleaning is maintained. Customers appreciate the helpful attitude of the owner, who ensures the place is well-kept. However, there are some drawbacks. The facility has become dirtier over the years, with issues like hair in washers, lint balls, and dirty floors. Some machines are broken or unmarked, so users need to be cautious before loading laundry. At times, many washers are out of order, and the layout can be crowded, especially during busy times like Sundays. Notably, there is no sink or restroom available, so visitors should plan accordingly. Overall, Chippewa Plaza Laundromat provides essential laundry services with a welcoming environment, despite some maintenance and accessibility issues.
My friend and I are traveling from Colorado. The homeless problem in Colorado Springs forced our 24-hour laundromat to get closed permanently. This place has everything one needs and is affordable. The only complaint we had was that there's no sink or restroom, so plan accordingly. Other than that, there's a TV, soap vending machine, and those cool video casino machines. The neighborhood is super quiet, and we felt safe that there's surveillance cameras on at all times. The best part for me was digging through the pile of discarded laundered clothes since I didn't pack enough clothes for the journey. With a grateful heart, I thank you for an excellent experience.
Washers and Dryers are priced pretty well. Both do a Good job for the money. You have to be Careful of Broken Unmarked Machines though before you put your laundry in. The place has also gotten a Lot dirtier than when I was coming 3yrs ago!? Hair in Washers and lint balls, stuck on candy, dirty floors, coin machine broken took my dollar.
I had to go on a Sunday after experiencing a flooded basement. I had quite a bit of bedding and towels to wash. There were 3 people in there and you could hardly move around. A customer was folding their laundry in front of the dryers and the way the laundromat is set up, it forced all the other patrons to have to walk all the way around the other side of the room to access the rest of the dryers that take up that whole wall. There were about 15 washers out of order, creating limited access for patrons. I chose to refrain from washing all my laundry for this very reason. I'll choose another laundromat next time.
