About Denney Electric Supply
Denney Electric Supply is a business with a diverse selection of electrical products, including lighting fixtures, chandeliers, and specialty supplies. The store is appreciated for offering high-quality options not available at larger chain stores like Home Depot and Lowes, especially for those seeking midmarket to upmarket lighting. Customers have praised the knowledgeable and helpful staff, with particular mention of staff members who provide detailed guidance and assistance, making the shopping experience smooth and convenient. The store's staff is noted for their pleasantness and willingness to help, even for small purchases. One standout aspect is the availability of items that are difficult to find elsewhere, along with Saturday hours that add to customer convenience. Denney Electric has grown from a single location to multiple stores across Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, and Berks Counties, serving a broad area. However, some customers have had negative experiences with staff, describing them as belligerent, rude, and arrogant, especially after changes in staffing. Prices have also been a concern for some, with many products costing significantly more than competitors, leading contractors and customers to seek better deals elsewhere. Despite these issues, Denney remains a go-to for those looking for quality lighting and electrical supplies with personalized service.
Schuylkill Haven stores staffing is belligerent, and rude. The stores pricing has continually increased with many products costing 50% or more over competitors. Werners Ace Hardware has beat them on wire, and in the most recent case 2 different forms of led lighting. when a specialty supply house cant compete with local supply chains it's time for myself and other contractors to stop supporting these buisnesses. I and dozen of other contractors in the area use to use Denny almost exclusively, but when past employees retired and we're replaced with arrogant belligerent individuals we slowly shifted to " as needed " In stock" purchases. Now when we can save hundreds or thousands of dollars and not have to put up with poor staffing , again it's time to move on .
