UPMC Children's Pediatric Dental - Hampton

Awful... both my husband and I took our son for dental caps .. he is being sedated slightly... they only let one parent back I had ran to the car real quick. I came back in and they had taken him back... I have never not been with my son during a procedure. I asked the assistant to go ask my son if he wanted mom or dad... he loves dad but always wants mon. She returned and said he said he wants dad... very odd. After words they came wheeling out and the first thing he said was ....mom why did you leave. He has been distraught the entire ride home. I said I asked if you wanted me and didn't they ask you. The office staff, nurses and dentist were so incredible. They took great care of my 2 and 4 year old boys. Definitely recommend. You just have to call upmc scheduling to actually get an appointment.

We absolutely love this dental office! So much easier getting to and parking than at Children's hospital. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews.. we've never had an issue here at all, I've always either had someone answer or have received a call back within the hour of leaving a voice-mail. The front desk ladies have always been pleasant and the hygentist and dentist are amazing!! They are wonderful with the kiddos! I 100 % would recommend!
