Carly is fabulous and her intern, Abby, was fantastic! I had been suffering terribly with a pinched nerve radiating from my spine over to the tips of my right fingers. Within 5 or 6 visits though (2 visits a week) the pain reduced enough that I could actually sleep at night. After each visit, I felt better and stronger. Carly also gave me information about some of the exercises so that I could modify them to do at home and then at the gym as I got stronger. Happily, I graduated today ? Sadly, however, I graduated today ? I will tell everyone I know to go to Carly. I thank my dear friend Denise for telling me about Precision (and she’d had had neck surgery!!!)
I highly recommend Dr. Karly Allen for those returning to sport after injury. I had a hard trail running fall that pulled my glute, injured my knee, and tightened my hamstring terribly (I had no idea how compromised my range of motion was until she showed me what was going on). I was training for a long trail race and was unable to run without pain. Dr. Allen was the perfect match for my needs: she is an athlete herself (ballet, triathlons, Rachel Carson Trail Challenge finisher), runs the office "Back to Sport" program, and took me (a middle aged woman trying to reach her distance running goals) seriously. I have lower back issues and severe sciatica pain that has been debilitating with pain down my left leg and tingling in my foot. After a thorough evaluation Karly came up with a treatment plan for me. While working thru the first few appointments she was able to quickly assess my abilities and modified as needed. I cannot say enough good things about Precision Physical Therapy and Performance. Within just a few appointments I could tell I was on the right track and this is exactly what I needed! It is my happy place! It is the best I have felt in months!
